Music & Voice
The music program at the Arts Academy of Hollywood is defined by highly skilled, professional teachers who possess the gift of teaching with creativity, nurturing and inspiration with the highest professional standards. Each class consists of a one-to-one private lesson for 30 or 60 minutes weekly. This type of personalized instruction, incorporating music theory as well as application, will foster the growth and enrich the study process of each student.
At the end of each nine weeks of instruction, all music and voice students will document their progress, and experience a recording session of their work at Pivot Entertainment, a professional recording studio located in the Arts Academy of Hollywood. This experience will help build confidence and add a cutting edge dimension to their instrument of study.
Summer Music Special!
All music and voice students who register between May through July 2008 will receive:
- 10% off 1/2-hour private music & voice lessons
- 15% off 1-hour private music & voice lessons
The following classes are available in Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels:
Voice- Piano/Keyboard
- Percussion/Drums
- Strings - Guitar & Violin
- Woodwind Instruments - Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone
- Chorus
- Kindermusik
These private classes are scheduled at the convenience of the student and availability of the teacher.
- Classes are individually scheduled and paid in full each 9-weeks and include a professional recording session.
Chorus Class
This new and exciting class is a great opportunity for all vocal students and singers from outside the Academy, to come together and create beautiful music. This course will focus in on harmony, vocal blending and styles, sight-reading and ear training. We highly recommend that all students have some knowledge of music fundamentals and previous vocal training.
Kindermusik
For more than 30 years, Kindermusik has brought the joy of musical learning to children newborn through seven years of age. Kindermusik has helped over a million children worldwide explore, express, and discover. Let our licensed Kindermusik Educator, Sheri Wilcox, help your child uncover their inner-artist.
Music Room Rental Rates
The music rooms are available for rental at an hourly rate of:
- $10/hr for current Arts Academy students
- $15/hr for non-students
Arts Academy music students may use the room for 1/2 hr before and after a lesson for free, providing the room is available.
