Mission

Our mission is to provide an arts destination to service the diverse needs of our clientèle and community’s visual, performing and linguistic arts education. Our comprehensive program empowers students to become leaders in the arts, challenging them with innovative skills as they prepare for their future.

Goals

Our goals are to:

• Meet the arts education needs of the community and goals of each student
• Provide well-trained, enthusiastic instructors, whose job is to give planned, comprehensive lessons, sharing their knowledge, passion, and experience
• Provide an enjoyable, professional learning experience
• Provide courteous professional customer service
• Provide friendly, helpful staff who offer prompt and courteous service
• Work hard to continuously improve our services using your feedback to help us improve
• Provide performance opportunities to all who have the desire

The Arts Academy Advantage

There are a number of advantages to taking classes at the Arts Academy of Hollywood:

• Our teachers training, professional experiences and qualifications are exceptional, as seen in their bio’s
• Several of our students went on to train at the prestigious New World School of the Arts (MDC), Dance Department
• One of our dance/acting students, Nathan Halliday, appeared on the television shows CSI and Cold Case (Acting as a Dancer)
• The facility is fully equipped with video surveillance systems
• Our dance floor, Studio 1, is sprung 3″ off the floor, minimizing dance related injuries (Click on image below for enlarged view)
  
• We have ADULT ONLY dance classes
• Our in-house recording studio is an added benefit to our music students
• We are located in the heart of historic downtown Hollywood

The Arts are a Way of Knowing

Students grow in their ability to understand the world when they learn the arts. As they create dances, music, theatrical productions, and visual artworks, they learn how to express themselves and how to communicate with others.
